WHERE THE STUDY BEGINS
You do not encounter reality without interpretation.
The mind does not simply receive the world exactly as it is. It selects, organises and interprets what appears before it through attention, memory, expectation, belief and prior experience.
This doesn't mean that reality is imaginary or that every interpretation is equally true. It means that the quality of what you perceive depends partly upon the condition and discipline of the instrument through which you perceive it.

The study does not ask you to reject appearances or invent hidden meanings. It asks you to recognise that immediate interpretation is not always final understanding.
